During her 40+ year career as a Parrish scholar, gallery owner, museum curator, and author of 14 books on the Cornish Colony and Maxfield Parrish in particular, Alma Gilbert has always been active in acquiring, selling, researching, and authenticating Parrish original paintings.
During the course of her career, she has handled through her galley or through museum sites sales of over 100 Parrish originals. This is a partial listing of these original paintings which have at one time or another passed through Alma Gilbert’s hands, some of them several times as clients acquired and then resold their collection(s)
