Historic Parrish home “The Oaks”  for sale

The legendary and historic property that American artist Maxfield Parrish built starting in 1898 and where he received his inspiration for a number of his landscapes, is for sale. The main house was rebuilt in 1979 and offers the same spectacular 120 degree view of the Connecticut River valley, of distant meadows, and of the famous Mt. Ascutney in nearby Vermont which Parrish himself enjoyed for 68 years.
